We made a little trip up to city center before school started. I left wyatt and lance with my camera and some cool looking pictures turned up. We made the most of the rainy first day of school and headed to the parking garage to snap some shots.

Don't forget to wish Lance a happy birthday as today is his birthday. Who the fuck drinks diet coke? FNR tommorow. I think most of the MM crew and more will be attending.

Wrapping up this summer is gonna be hard, but just in a nutshell I met some cool people. Rode with some new people. And made many many friends. We're all gonna do the same old stuff during the school year anyways, soo not much to miss but waking up whenever you want and riding to whenever in the night you want. Alright guys, so lance has made me a contributor of the blog strictly for the purpose of posting this because him and petey are to busy playing xbox to take time out to do it themselves.

on to the sujbect of this post, a couple of us were hanging out tonight and thought thatd it would be cool to just get a bunch of people together and hangout for a while and get to know everyone and maybe have a few games or something. kind along the lines of peel sessions up in new york. just a time for people to hangout , learn some tricks (if this is desired) play some games (skid and trackstand competition) and just get to know the younger community of fellow riders around this area. and maybe just a cruise around the cnu/hidenwood area afterwards. were thinking of trying to get something like this started this upcoming saturday around 730. not sure where exactly we will meet up but comments and suggestions are welcome. were not trying to take this where the FNR's have gone. more along the lines of just a time to relax and have some fun on your bike.

I woke up about an hour earlier than usual and got a message from a little birdy on BBM.
He sent me a couple of pictures of what some girl said to a kid that rode a freewheel single speed through a myspace comment. I viewed them only to be disgusted with what she had been saying.
This girl is also in Jerm's crew, Zak was just mentioned because he was there I guess(Don't worry Zak I know you wouldn't sound this dumb!)
Cmon we need to do something with this scene getting out of hand so far that every one hates on single speeds and they haven't even been on a bike yet!
Noobs just won't understand.

P.S. - At least I know that these kids use the phrase "make moves". Even if they talk shit about us every day. But we obviously are stronger than them if we're not reacting in such a childish way :)

First let me start by saying my bike is briefly out of commission. I should be back making moves soon. In the down time, I drove Matt and Lance to downtown this afternoon and snapped a few pics.
We headed over to the trick spot at night. I jumped on Lance's bike for a little and both of us were nailing half keos. Matt was on fire and showed us some half keo barspins, static spins, and was almost nailing full keos.

I'm definitely bringing a tripod next time I come here, so I can get some different styles of pictures. Keep checking the blog. Make Moves is stepping up. Rumors of a scavenger hunt or new montage have been going around.

Started out today playing some N64. (peep the glitch) Following up on Lance's post, we headed over to the trick spot to make moves.

I ended up getting a half keo here. Everybody else got pretty pumped and started trying them. Matt thought this picture of lance was pretty cool. Our next stop was CNU where Wyatt showed us some real track biking. Eventually some fucking CNU cops surrounded us, took our ID's, and did background checks on all of us. Then they told us not to ride in the square and to ride in the parking lots. Totally killed the energy of the session.

Today me and jeremy woke up in my garage and played mario tennis for a while.
Then decided to ride to his house.
On maxwell I was having fun swerving and dodging manhole covers then in the midst of it I clip jeremy and he gets caught in my back wheel bringing him to the ground face first.
After a missing piece of his tooth and spit up blood on the sidewalk of maxwell, were sitting in sentara waiting for him to get called in for stitches.

To whoever has seen Back to the future, the McFly's have been wanted from every person from the era of the movies. Nike came out with a shoe that resembled and was named the McFly but was nowhere close to what Mark Kurath did, he researched every shoe that could be put together to create his own custom McFly shoe, his first prototype consisted of an old Air pegasus nike shoe with some added features, but the final product was something greater, I think they're pretty ugly but that doesn't mean they aren't worth anything, these shoes are worth close to 4k ( that almost matches up to the Wu-tang dunks which are 5k ) and are custom. Mark Kurath says "They were really expensive, but I have to say, they are built exactly for my feet by an orthopedic shoemaker. All in all I spent almost 4000$!". (interview from Sneakerfreaker)

7bike7's beloved Bdunn is retiring his Newport News move making session from what I hear. His last ride here will be on friday night march 27th, 2009. Oh and I will be putting BMX barz back on my bike just cause it's sooo much easier to do tricks and pop up the bike, rather than some str8 barz, so I will be retiring my straight bars as well. So everyone come out this friday and ride, idc who you are. Unfortunately I may have to work this friday night so I have no clue whether or not I can make it out.

Tonight...ohhh tonight, what a great night for me and Bryan. Got my crankset on, rode around, then rode to City Center to check out this St. Patrick's day festival thing. Didn't stay long but it was a really relaxing ride from this stressful couple of weeks. M.O.B. meeting thursday after school to discuss the whole thing. But tomorrow there is a group interview for Zumiez at Patrick Henry mall. Man I need this job, as well as a couple of my buddies, and our broke asses hahaha :) Oh and me and my crew are going to try to set up an alley kat with a twist soon (preferably spring break). The crew is working on another little video for all the kiddies to watch.

Hong Kong fixed gear

limited run of stickersv(as seen above) that were handed out at the Manifest Hope art show in
D.C. and
people loved the stickers so much that they ran out at the show. To get your hands on the

On another note, Obey propaganda also released a very limited run of prints that will go
for 200$, now this might seem a bit pricey on your part but here's the good part, all

Kidrobot fixie

This bike has been around for a little bit, but I thought I should share a couple of pictures with you guys. This beautiful track bike collaboration with Kidrobot and Nemesis is just so incredibly gnarly, seeing that Kidrobot is one of the most recognized urban clothing companies I have seen thus far. The bike you see here isn't available for purchase, but can be seen in one select Kidrobot retail store in it's own display. This unique bicycle is shown complete with robot head valve caps, U-lock and key with robot head keychain.
